    So glad to see the book back and better. I grew up a big fan of the Doc Savage books, trawling the flea markets for the paperbacks. Looking forward to more adventures with the Wilde family!

    Wow, good looking page. And I'm tickled you finally got to show off Gary Chaloner's amazing artwork for Doc.
    No offense to the editors at Putnam, but they honestly made the wrong call here. Gabor's cover is beautiful, but he's not Doc as he is described in the book itself.
    And again, Putnam could have taken a leaf from my Airship 27 Prod. pulps and simply used Gary's marvelous illustrations as spot pieces throughout the book's interior. Now that would be an terrific package. Oh well, it's just the start of what I pray is a long running series, and they can improve on this truly wonderful start.
